New Laser Machine

Following our in-depth research The Foil Specialists sourced a special laser machine to cut non-ferrous. Non-ferrous can be highly reflective and thermally conductive which can cause damage to the metal when the wrong type of laser is being used and at worst ruin the laser itself which stops production. At Foil we have continued to find solutions and with a close working relationship with the laser manufacturer to custom-tailor specific requirements, we can provide a service that our customers need.

We have invested in a specialised laser machine which can effortlessly cut through various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and brass ranging from approximately 0.05mm and thicker (dependent on the type of metal composition). We can produce high volume components or intricate custom designs which can create exciting new opportunities across multiple industries, from automotive and aerospace to electronics and custom metal fabrication.

Our customers send their designs as a PXF drawing or at Foil we can use our in-house CAD software and with our vast stock range and the high-speed cutting capabilities of our laser machine we can dramatically reduce production times as we do everything in house.
