We work with thicknesses from 0.025mm upwards, and the range of metal foils we can process include copper, tinned copper, brass, bronze, steel, aluminium, nickel and various metal alloys.

We have press machines, guillotines and a laser machine to process a variety of metals, please enquire for prototype and production work.

We also have the ability to bond metal to adhesive including conductive adhesive materials to form adhesive backed cut components and parts.

We have developed techniques for cutting bespoke shapes from metal foil and sheet. This includes die stamping, die cutting and fibre laser cutting. We will make to your specification and can provide prototype work for your project.

    ‘An initial consultation with our client discussed the prototype of their battery tab design for EV charging ports. Foil Specialists took their drawing to create tooling able to produce the prototype in various finishes for initial testing. Following the clients testing process approval for high volume work began. Foil Specialists team monitor the whole process from the sourcing of materials, production of the product to the bespoke packaging solutions to ensure the client receives repeatable high quality cut components.’

    Free issue Die cutting / Die stamping 

    ‘A customer required bespoke cut foil parts from 0.076mm adhesive backed aluminium that they had sourced. We produced the tooling and cut these parts from their free issue material in accordance with their specification and design providing a packaging solution that would protect these delicate parts in transit.’

Our CAD service also gives us the ability to take complex and bespoke drawings for highly engineered components and decorative, design work to create complex end pieces. We work with our customer, be it the engineer or creative designer to ensure we understand their requirements including material qualities, surface and edge finish and the environmental stress the end product will need to withstand.  

We have developed our processes to maximise our efficiency and reduce our waste. All waste produced is recycled using local recycling companies. We are continually looking into reducing our carbon footprint by using recyclable packaging and if suitable using electric delivery vehicles.
